SUICOKE
2006年にスタート。本当に自分たちが欲しいもの、所有したいものだけを作っていくという挑戦的創造開発をコンセプトとして、高品質なシューズ作りをメインとして始まった。2012年、独自の開発により、SUICOKE ORIGINAL EVA Footbedを搭載したサンダルを発表。人が歩くときの力、支点をうまく利用し、ズレが生じて歩きづらさを感じないように。そして踵、 土踏まず部分を自然な設計で突起させることで、歩行時の足への負担を軽減させるフットベッドを開発。世界的な一流ソールメーカーとして知られるVIBRAM社との取り組みも深く、2014年には他ブランドでは、成し得なかった業界初のVIBRAM Soleを搭載したオリジナルサンダルを開発することに成功。当初は、釘が打てるほどソールが硬かったが、幾度のテストを繰り返して、最高の履き心地を追及したプロダクトを完成させた。
SUICOKE is a cult Japanese brand which originally made its mark with small accessories such as hand painted ‘Matryoshka Dolls’. With complete creative freedom and a fresh direction, SUICOKE has become known for its wide selection of performance sandals, including collaborations with the likes of Norse Projects. Sandals with neoprene panels and adjustable nylon straps, molded Vibram footbed, woven logo and Vibram Morflex soles. In Spring Summer 2014, SUICOKE were unveiled world’s firstdesigned footbed which exclusively own by the brand.
